Here’s the bracket for the tournament! Only 7 participant joined. And I managed to get the ‘bye’!

The format will be double elimination format. Twice lost and all gone. Round 1 is held from 1st December 2023 – 4th December 2023. And I got lucky to auto win on round 1. My next battle which is the 2nd Round will be on 5th December 2023.

I have chose my only 2 VB BE Digimon, Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode x2!

Yes, I haven’t got the time to get other Dims but hey, gotta use whatever I have! Anyway, here’s some of my opinion on the match-up~

Match 1 is Yong vs Ah Fok, Alphamon: Ouryuken & Diarbitmon vs Alphamon: Ouryuken x2. This is an all Vaccine-type battle, hence there’s no attribute advantage going-on around here. Base on their power levels, duo Alhpamon:Ouryuken would have an advantage.

Match 2 is Ron vs Arian, Alphamon: Ouryuken & Seraphimon vs Tyrant Kabuterimon & Examon. Ron is using duo Vaccine type whereas Arian using a Virus and a Data type. Data have advantage against Vaccine, Examon would certainly be the vanguard. Well, in the screen cap, already seen that Arian won. I forgot to screen capture before the event started.

Data type do have a slight advantage, and with a last minute Guts, securing the win.

Match 3 is Eddy vs Max, Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode & Siriusmon vs Duo Rasenmon. This is a duo Vaccine vs duo Data. Data type would have the advantage in this situation. In my opinion, Proximamon would be the better choice which give you an advantage over same double attribute and also with higher battle power. The win would certainly goes to the duo Rasemon team.

So, about my pairing. I kinda disappointed on my poor choice. Duo Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode. Duo Vaccine. I can’t rotate at all if I ever going to battle with Data types. It’s true that Imperialdramon:PM has the highes BP amongst all current release Digimon, but type advantages do change the chances of winning. I just hope my dexterity is good enough to land high combo damage. Wish me luck and my next post will be on how I fair on 5th December 2023.

DAF2023:TCK – VB Arena: Post Round 1

I lost… Here’s the latest update on the Vital Bracelet Arena brackets. Apparently I lost fighting against Duo Alphamon:Ouryuken. My Duo Imperialdramon:Paladin Mode just aren’t cut it. vs It was once heck of a battle. My attacks just not going through at all! Alphamon’s defense are really high. I was confused during the battle. Then I realize what’s the actual problem. My Ability sucks… Yes that’s right, both of my Digimon’s Ability are only SR-level skill. Where as the rest of the participant are using UR-level skill. I’ve spent my tickets and no UR came to me. It really is a limited kind of Item. After the match, my opponent actually told me that it was EASY to get ’em, using some tricks, and those tricks just doesn’t feel right to me. I’m not some kind of “ally-of-justice” at all, but I do want to play as fair as it is. When luck doesn’t come my way, I don’t force it and I take it as a challenge.
